Turkish participation has achieved remarkable success in the 14th edition of the International Healthcare and Medical Exhibition - Healthcare, which was held at Damascus Fairground, Syria. This participation consisted of a number of companies that are specialized in medical fields like medical equipment, hospital furniture, x-ray devices, and medical materials.

Mr. Koray Pirencek, International Marketing Department at KBB - Turkey, clarified “Turkish participation at Healthcare comes in the context of the growing interest of Turkish companies from all commercial and industry sectors in entering the Syrian market.” He asserted that his company didn’t hesitate to participate at the exhibition in spite of all that is being broadcast by Arab and foreign Medias about the current internal situation in Syria. Mr. Pirencek added “Similar demonstrations take place in Turkey, and it is something normal that happens everywhere around the world, and the Turkish embassy along with the organizing companied asserted to us that Syria is as secure as ever, that’s why we came to participate and affirm our support for Syria in those circumstances.”
KBB is one of the leading companies in Ankara, Turkey in producing, distributing, and exporting Medical Chairs since 1995, and it is readying to launch a new product next September. Mr. Pirencek said “We export our products to more than 25 Arab and foreign countries, and our participation at the International Healthcare and Medical Exhibition is our first, a visit that aims to introduce our products to the local market, as well as find distributors for our products in Syria.” He also expressed his admiration for the good organization of the exhibition, and wished that the number of visitors would increase in the following editions.

Mr. Bekir Sarikaya, from Orthosoft - Turkey, expressed his delight to be in Syria for the first time through the International Healthcare and Medical Exhibition - Healthcare, he stated that his company, that is specialized in medical ligament support products, participated in the exhibition because of the vast promising business opportunities that the Syrian market offers in business sectors in general, and the medical equipment sector in particular. He also lauded the good reputation that Healthcare has formed in the region during the past few years, which has been a major incentive for the participation of his company.

The International Healthcare and Medical Exhibition - Healthcare - Syria is one of the medical, scientific exhibitions held under the patronage of the Syrian Ministry of Health, and organized by Arabian Group for Exhibitions and Conferences. The exhibition witnessed the participation of more than 55 companies that represent more than 225 international and Arab brands from 29 countries, where exhibitors showcased the latest developments that science has reached from products and technologies in this vital field. A number of medical topics were addressed by Arab and International lecturers in the scientific program that ran parallel to the exhibition.

Based on our Arabian Group for Exhibitions and Conferences commitment to support the medical IT and medical administrative programs sector, a pavilion was dedicated for this sector within Healthcare Syria exhibition  under the name of ‘The Specialized Exhibition for Programming and Medical Automation - Medical IT’  where the latest technologies and programs were on display including hospitals and medical facilities management software, laboratories; specialized centers; and clinics management software, medical warehouses and pharmacies specialized accounting and inventory software, medical records software for hospitals and clinics, and medical engineering software.
