Under the patronage of the Syrian Ministry of Health, the 13th session of the International Healthcare and Medical Exhibition - HEALTHCARE, held in conjunction with the 5th International Dental and Laboratory Equipment Exhibition – DENTALCARE and the 2nd International Laboratory Technology and Equipment Exhibition – SYRIA LAB will be inaugurated today Thursday 4th November at Al Yaman Land, Aleppo. A large number of medical, dental and laboratories specializations, clinics and hospitals equipment and supplies, beside the physicians needs will be exhibited during the 4 days of the exhibitions.
Mr. Alaa Hilal the CEO of Arabian Group for Exhibitions and Conferences stated: “These exhibitions are returning back to Aleppo this year to regain their place in this province as an important economic event that gathers the commercial and scientific purposes with the medical field, bearing in mind that Aleppo is considered a vital economic, industrial and trade centre for companies to present their productions and services to the largest possible segment of interested people and researchers on all what is new within this sector in Aleppo and the eastern and northern regions.”
“More than 75 exhibiting companies representing 303 brands from 45 countries are participating in these exhibitions which will be accompanied with scientific lectures delivered by participating companies and will covers latest medical, scientific and laboratories updates.” Mr. Hilal added.
Mr. Hilal pointed to the considerable success achieved by these exhibitions’ latest editions in Damascus and Aleppo, which annually attracted participations from leading local and foreign medical, dental and laboratories companies. Also he talked about the reasons behind the exhibitions’ absence in Aleppo in the last years which stand for the unavailability of suitable venue for organizing exhibitions, whereas they are now back stronger due to the important and necessary needs of the medical sector and the availability of proper venue.
It is essential to refer that Healthcare, Dentalcare and Syria Lab exhibitions were established to provide adequate incentives in order to attract the largest possible number of local and neighboring visitors in the region who are interested in the exhibitions’ specializations. Also the exhibition provides a real opportunity to the companies to showcase their products and services to the largest possible number of interested people and researchers on all what is new in this vital and important sector.
The exhibitions will be open daily from 4.00 pm to 10.00 pm. Free Shuttle Bus Service is provided during the exhibition period from Saad Allah Al Jabri Square to Al Yaman Land, air conditioned buses depart every 30 minutes.

The 6th edition of the International Industrial Exhibition THE BIG 4 SHOW, held under the patronage of Dr. Fuad Issa Jouni, the Syrian Minister of Industry, concluded its activities yesterday evening at Damascus Fairground, Syria. This year’s edition witnessed a rich variety of specialties of participating companies and brands, what was also remarkable this year was the variety of visitor’s nationalities, in addition to delegations from industrial, professional and government bodies from Damascus and other Syrian cities, VIPs and businessmen from neighboring, Gulf, and African countries. 
This edition was distinguished by series of lectures and seminars which were held under the patronage of the Ministry of Environmental Affairs, under the name “Towards a Clean Industrial Environment” which addresses a variety of main topics and issues that are closely associated with environmental safety, in addition to the processing of industrial wastewater, environment friendly industrial HVAC, managing plastic waste, and many other significant scientific specialized industrial activities.
The daily press coverage on the exhibition shows that the participating companies were generally satisfied with the results of the 6th edition of THE BIG 4 SHOW. Many participating companies signed contracts and made important business deals, they also succeeded in promoting their products and getting agents in the Syrian market.
One of the highlights of the show was the success of hosting a separate pavilion dedicated to Security and Safety; the pavilion attracted the participation of many important local and international brands and companies that have prestigious reputation in the security and safety field. The contribution of the Syrian Association for Occupation Safety was also exceptional through delivering two scientific lectures about spreading occupational culture and following the rules of occupational safety in factories and industrial institutions.
Many local companies emerged through the quality of their participation in the show, where they exhibited locally manufactured production lines with world-class excellence. The show was also distinguished by the variety of industrial machines exhibited like engraving, drilling, cutting, turning and welding machines with the use of advanced computer programs that are entering the Syrian market for the first time.
The 6th edition of the International Industrial Exhibition –THE BIG 4 SHOW recorded the participation of 258 local and international brands and trademarks from 30 countries, the exhibition was held simultaneously with the 1st edition of the International Exhibition for Home Textile –HOME TEXTILE.

The International Industrial Exhibition THE BIG 4 SHOW continued its activities at Damascus Fairground, Syria, where it witnessed the visits of a number of professional and official delegations, and delegations from industrial companies from Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, and from different Syrian governorates.
A series of lectures and seminars were held under the patronage of the Ministry of Environmental Affairs, under the name “Towards a Clean Industrial Environment” which addresses a variety of main topics and issues that are closely associated with environmental safety, in addition to the processing of industrial wastewater, environment friendly industrial HVAC, managing plastic waste, and many other significant scientific specialized industrial activities.
Al-Ard Earth Link and Advanced Resources Development Co. held a lecture titled ”D2W” for managing plastic wastes by Dr. Muwaffaq Sheikh Ali, which dealt with the modern tools and methods used in plastic waste management by companies, and using their benefits in other fields.
The Syrian Association for Occupational Safety also held a seminar titled “Safe Defensive Driving Skills” by Mr. Abdul Majeed Al-Houri, where he addressed the important requirements for road safety for individuals and vehicles using appropriate visual aids like pictures and videos of the dangers that drivers and passengers are exposed to while traveling in cars, because of failing to follow road safety rules and recklessness, stressing the importance to not neglect any details about the vehicle, the road, or driving mistakes. Mr. Al-Houri emphasized the need for concerned bodies to stress and emphasize on committing to the rules that contributed to reducing the number of traffic accidents, therefore reducing the number of deaths. At the same time he presented scientific studies that assured higher accident rates during the coming years if a new strict policy is not applied for the traffic and road situation in the light of the growing numbers of vehicles.
As for the visits that the exhibition had witnessed on its second day from neighboring countries, Mr. Mahmoud Salem Abu Zaghleh, CEO of Crystal Plastic Factory from Jordan, stated that he is visiting the International Industrial Exhibition – The Big 4 Show for the second time in a row, given the importance of the exhibition and the satisfying results he got from last year’s visit, pointing to signing a contract to supply production lines for manufacturing molds for plastic packaging with a Turkish company, today he looks to fulfill some needs of his company in Jordan, Mr. Abu Zaghleh expressed his intention to participate in the industrial exhibition next year to search for eligible agents to promote his products in the Syrian market, especially since his company’s products feature quality and competitiveness.
A big delegation from the Architectural Association in Tartous visited the International Industrial Exhibition – The Big 4 Show, the head of delegation considered the visit to be a form of communication between the association and the scientific industrial events, and to be informed about new aspects in the industrial field, especially those related to the specialties of each member of the delegation that belong to a number of industrial companies and bodies that are related the industrial field. The head of delegation also added that the exhibition provides a great opportunity for specialists like architects, industrialists and professionals to gain more experience and get versed with everything new that is being presented by local and international participating companies.

Dr. Fuad Issa Jouni, Syrian Minister of Industry, inaugurated the 6th edition of the International Industrial Exhibition THE BIG 4 SHOW Wednesday evening in Damascus Fairground, Syria, which is being held simultaneously with the Inter national Home Textile Exhibition HOME TEXTILE, where 92 local, Arabic and foreign brands from 14 countries are competing to introduce the best products and offers in the Home Textile Exhibition.
In a press release after the inauguration Dr. Jouni stated that the exhibition covers a wide spectrum of the Syrian Industry needs in the fields of printing and packaging, plastic industries, machines, production lines and occupational safety, he also added that the many machines and production lines manufactured locally are what distinguish this exhibition, stressing the Ministry’s interest in these industries, and providing the needed aid to promote them to cover the local market needs and to export them to foreign markets.
Regarding what was provided by the government for Syrian Industry development needs, the Industrial minister mentioned that the government always seeks to provide all the Syrian Industry’s changing needs, pointing to the uniqueness of the carpet, furniture fabric and curtain industries in Syria, which have reached an advanced level that has allowed them to compete in foreign markets.
Mr. Alaa Hilal, CEO of Arabian Group for Exhibitions and Conferences stated that is being held for the first time in this separate field, and is witnessing a huge and rich variety of different local and foreign specialized brands, pointing to the participation of a large group of renowned Arabic and foreign companies that are specialized in producing and decorating furniture fabrics and curtains, where opportunity is given to Syrian manufacturers to be informed of the latest trends during the exhibition instead of traveling abroad.
Mr. Hilal emphasized on the importance of the participation of companies that produce and manufacture Persian and Turkish carpets, in addition to the important participation of companies from Syria and the gulf. The exhibition serves as a gateway for Syrian and international manufacturers to local consumption markets and to markets in the Arab region, by displaying their wide variety of high quality products that comply with the different classes and tastes, and meet the needs of households, company offices and different architectural and touristic projects.
The visitor of HOME TEXTILE will witness a large and rich variety of different local and international brands, pointing to the importance of the participation of companies that produce and manufacture Persian and Turkish carpets, in addition to the important participation of a number of gulf companies like the Emirates company “Bin Rashed” for curtain and furniture fabrics, which is one of the biggest companies in the Arab Gulf specialized in this field, in addition to “Adfa” a Saudi Arabian company for blankets through their agent in Syria “Adfa Mall”, and many other important companies.
As for local participation the exhibition is witnessing the distinguished presence of the biggest local companies in this industry. “Saida Carpets” is one of these companies as well as “Oulabi Tex”, “Al Maamoun for Linen”, “Rankousi”, “World of Carpets” and many other companies that work in home textile.
