As part of our dedication to stay updated with the latest scientific innovations and technologies that the world is witnessing and to provide all that is new, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new specialised exhibition, the International Laboratory Technology and Equipment Exhibition (SYRIA LAB) which will bring on display the latest in medical and scientific laboratories and its equipment, the exhibition will include cutting-edge science and technologies of products testing and quality check techniques.

The International Laboratory Technology and Equipment Exhibition (SYRIA LAB) will be held from 15 – 18 April, 2010 on Damascus Fairground, Syria.

Given the importance of the laboratories and the fact that it is the scientific technical division that handles the testing of any goods, products and materials to detect their properties, ingredients and specifications in order to determine the extent of compliance with specifications or it compliance with laws regulating the standard of productions or services. Laboratories conducts inspections and tests, studies and scientific research, and oversees the prevailing level of quality and making plans and policies for developing and improving these standards and levels.

Analytical laboratories worldwide always seeks to give true and accurate analytical results to demonstrate its level of precision and accuracy, the results are achieved by applying the standards of quality assurance program and the quality control mechanisms to the daily analytical processes in a systematic and orderly manners. The international ISO 17025 Standard which includes general requirements that ensure efficient performance of calibration and testing, is one of the international technical standards applied in laboratories and factories to monitor the quality control applications and conducts.

Also many national and international bodies and institutions seeks to get its factories recognised by the efficiency of its laboratories in performing laboratory tests / calibration in a particular activity, to specific elements within the set measurement range identifying degree of confidence level in accordance with the declared international ISO 17025 Standard, in order to provide confidence in measurement results conducted by the laboratories and to overcome the technical barriers to introduce their products to the global trading system.
